Terms & Conditions

IN THE FOLLOWING TERMS & CONDITIONS OF BOARDING, glenview KENNELS are REFERRED TO AS “gVK” AND THE OWNER OF THE PET OR PETS, TO BE BOARDED ARE REFERRED TO AS “THE OWNER”.

Terms & Conditions of Boarding

  1. Vaccination details

1.1.       All pets boarded must be fully vaccinated, and proof of the vaccination must be proven via a vaccination certificate or copy of such sent by email.

1.2.       Failure to provide a valid vaccination certificate for each pet will prevent them from boarding.

1.3.       This must show a booster vaccination having taken place within the last 12 months and signed off by a qualified Veterinary Surgeon. The certificate must show the booster having been administered as part of a course of vaccinations.

1.4.       Dog Vaccinations must safeguard against the following diseases: Distemper, Parvovirus, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis and Parainfluenza.

1.5.       All dogs must have a current Kennel Cough (Infectious Tracheobronchitis) vaccination.

1.6.       Your dog must have this at least 2 weeks prior to arrival at kennels. This is NOT part of your annual booster vaccination.  If you are in any doubt, kennel cough vaccines can be identified on your vaccination card/certificate as ‘Nobivac KC’, ‘Bronchishield’ or ‘Canigen KC’ (which lasts for 12 months). This is caused by an airborne infection and thus outside the control of GVK.

1.7.       GVK will never knowingly accept a dog with the condition, but as incubation can exceed 10 days it may not be detectable prior to arrival. The owner therefore accepts that this hazard exists, especially at busy times.

2.4.       We reserve the right to contact a veterinary surgeon should we feel the need arises.  All fees and charges will be the responsibility of the owner.

2.5.       If your pet has any existing medical conditions, any medication they need should be supplied with clear written instructions.  If the medication runs out, you agree for us to purchase further supplies on your behalf and for you to reimburse us for any expense incurred.
